  >  BLOG   >  What If Coincidences Are Actually Leading You Where You Need to Be?

No, I don’t believe in coincidences. At least, not in the way we usually think of them.

Some things happen because of the choices we make. Others seem to find us. We might call them coincidences, but I like to think there is something more behind them — synchronicities that somehow appear at the right time, sometimes triggered by the smallest choices we make.

And sometimes, strangely enough, the two meet.

Have you ever looked back at a seemingly insignificant decision and realized that, had you chosen differently that day, an entire chapter of your life would never have existed?

I have.

For the past two months, I’ve felt like the main character in my own fairytale. And it all started with something incredibly small: a familiar face, a strange feeling that I might know him from somewhere, and the simple curiosity to ask, “Do I know you?”

Such a small choice. Such an ordinary question. And yet, looking back, I sometimes wonder how different these past two months would have been if I had simply walked away without asking.

Maybe that’s where choices and synchronicities meet.

I’ve always had a way of looking at things from above, trying to grasp the bigger picture. I’ve always known there is so much more to life than what can be seen on the surface. What we see is often just a reflection, a mirror pointing towards something deeper than we might initially realize.

And perhaps that is why I’ve learned not to look at the people and situations that enter our lives only for what they appear to be at first. Sometimes, their meaning lies not in what happens, but in what they awaken in us.

All the inner work I’ve been doing over the past few years has helped me look beyond the obvious and search for the truth underneath the surface.

Sometimes, it’s not about a simple encounter; it’s about a bond that somehow feels deeper than the circumstances that brought two people together.

It’s not always about someone being mean to you; sometimes, they are showing you a wound of their own and speaking from that wounded place.

It’s not necessarily about love at first sight; sometimes, it’s about two souls meeting and recognizing in each other something they had been missing for a long time.

It’s not about showing off; sometimes, it’s about finally refusing to hide what you feel.

And it’s not about bragging; sometimes, it’s simply about having the courage to say out loud what you’ve been keeping inside for far too long.

Maybe part of our work in this life is learning to face the things we fear doing the most. Because every time we find the courage to walk towards something we fear, something within us expands. Our perspective changes. Our consciousness shifts. We discover parts of ourselves we might never have met if we had stayed where it felt safe.

But our battles are different.

Which battles are worth fighting, and which ones are asking us to let go?

Some battles we carry for years. We hold on to them because we think we need to win, because letting go feels like losing, or simply because we have forgotten what life feels like without them.

Until one day, we become exhausted from carrying something that was never meant to become part of us.

And maybe that is when we wake up.

Sometimes, waking up means realizing that you don’t need to win the battle at all. You simply put it down and let it go.

Other times, waking up means seeing the same battle differently and finally finding the courage to step forward and do what you have been afraid to do.

Either way, something changes.

And every time something changes within us, another path becomes possible.

Life is such a vast ocean of possibilities. There are countless versions of the life we could live, and every choice opens one path while leaving another unexplored.

So, what would you like to experience?

What emotions do you want to allow yourself to feel?

What kind of life would you choose if fear didn’t make the decision for you?

And would you be willing to keep your mind flexible enough to question what you once believed was true?

That doesn’t mean going with the flow without having your own opinion, values, or direction. It means knowing where you want to go while remaining open to the possibility that the path might look completely different from what you imagined.

You can choose the destination without needing to control every turn along the way.

And maybe that is one of the hardest lessons for someone like me.

I am a logical, mind-driven person. I like understanding things. I like knowing why. I like seeing the road ahead.

And yet, somehow, the most unexpected things seem to happen when I loosen my grip on control.

I set my intentions. I know what I want to experience and what feels true to me. But I’m learning to leave enough space for life to surprise me.

Because perhaps surrender doesn’t mean giving up your power.

Perhaps it means trusting that you don’t need to understand the entire journey before taking the next step.

And maybe what we call coincidence is sometimes just life unfolding in a way we could never have imagined.
